Scarves, a welcome plan and reasons to believe
In their 11 previous appearances in the top European club competition, whenever they have ended Matchday 4 on 7 points -something a win this week would give them- they have made it through to the knockout stages.
That, coupled with Lille's unconvincing away form this season of two draws and five defeats, will boost Albert Celades' men even more as they assess their chances of continuing in the competition.
As if further motivation was required, a special initiative will see fans greet the players upon their arrival to the stadium, with a gathering convened for 7:30pm at the Avenida de Suecia entrance. Scarves are the theme of the welcome, with supporters set to wave them and hold them aloft during the arrival, warmup and presentation.
To help ensure an ample presence of scarves, a 20% discount is being offered at VCF Official Stores for the accessory.
